TEMPLE by Ginger Moon is a Balinese and Indonesian restaurant in Kuta, Bali, set within a lush garden sanctuary near Discovery Mall and Kuta Beach. Discover Balinese favourites, Indonesian seafood, sharing plates, locally inspired pizzas and tropical cocktails in a relaxed setting. In the middle of a lush tropical setting sits a family temple, hundreds of years old.

The colours of the temple – grey stone, red brick, the gold of the “wastra” and the many shades of greens from the garden have been repeated throughout the restaurant proper and in the theatrical open kitchen.

From Monday to Sunday, our chefs craft distinct dish’s that celebrate best of local produce, and in many cases scream “Bali on a Plate”. The grill burns coffee & rambutan woods and delivers authentic Bali flavours to whatever foods kiss it, think smoky chicken & duck, market fresh fish & prawns, and of course Bali’s famous rotisserie pork belly (Babi guling).

One of my favourite restaurants to eat at while in Bali. The decor and ambience is beautiful, staff are super friendly and the food and drinks just delicious. Looking forward to bringing our friends there when we head back in June this year.

Loved dining here for dinner. We ordered a banquet for two which has to be the best food we have tried so far in Bali. The service is absolutely amazing with the staff being extremely attentive and friendly. I definitely recommend this place for a nice dinner.

We came here everyday for afternoon drinks and for dinner. Food is exceptional and the drinks are amazing as well. The front of house Manager, Ekka, was so attentive and so friendly, warm and welcoming. Thank you so much for such great service!! Highly, highly recommend this place.

I was really looked after by the staff including young Yuni. Lovely staff who genuinely care to provide good service. Food was well priced, big servings and also there was a 2 for 1 drink deal.

Little gem in Kuta, Bali. Food is beautiful and fresh with Balinese flavour. Some Western options like hot chips. Best cocktails and lots of specials every day. Service is amazing and the manager checking up on us to make sure we were happy. Absolutely love this place and will be coming back when visiting Bali in the future. Give it a try! You won’t be disappointed. Kids' options are great. Staff is so friendly and attentive to kids.
